The Cylinder head is ready for pickup

The cylinder head is done  with its port and polish job. Dan was very good about documenting his progress so I get to share his work as he did it.
In the last post, he got through cylinder one. Since then he's done a whole lot of work!

Two down two to go. Notice those exhaust ports!
Exhaust valve/intake port view comparison
Exhaust ports are being opened up to blacktop specs
All four ports widened
All ported and polished. Now it's time to send everything out for a 3 angle on the exhaust seats and to grind the exhaust valves.
The valves were back cut to improve flow
Test fitting the intake cam. Journals 2, 3, and 4 were a little tight, so with some gentle massaging, he made it sit better.
Assembling number 12 intake valve, spring, and seat
All intake valves are in.
All exhaust valves are in.
We have ourselves a complete head. Ported and polished with a set of Toda 288° cams installed. The valves are clearance to 0.0254mm.
Intake cams set to 0.20mm clearance
Exhaust cams set to 0.25mm clearance.

With that said, I'll be driving down to Portland tomorrow and will pick it up on Sunday morning!
