The short block came back and it has me very pumped. It took a little longer as the shop I took it to didn't end up having a small enough bit for the journal line honing, but he got it sorted. Thanks to Pat at Olympic Engine Building and Machining.
You can see difference between cylinders 1 and 4.
On top of this, I got some updates from Dan who's working on the head. He got it back from the machine shop and has one cylinder done.
The valves came back but the exhaust valves show a lot of damage from over the years. He's hoping there will be enough to work with.
So that's where things are at. Things look to be coming along nicely and hopefully I can get things put back together soon!
