New update regarding the cylinder head. My mom and I took a little drive down to Portland, Oregon to drop off my silvertop cylinder head to Dan Steinhart for a port and polish and to have the valves clearance for a set of 288 deg Toda cams and springs.
After disassembly, he sent me some pictures showing how cruddy the exhaust valves were after so much burnt oil.
With everything torn down, he's sending the head off to be machined and then will commence to working his magic when it returns in about ten days.
The waiting game continues but it's very exciting!
