The Teardown Continues

My fiance and I got the engine almost the rest of the way through pulling the engine apart. I couldn't find the timing pulley tool that I bought, so we weren't able to pull the crank out.

We had a little difficulty pulling the oil pan. I forgot that the windage tray was still glued to it so the pan was stuck.
I felt a little silly once I realized what was going on.
With the oil pan off, we were quickly able to zap off the connecting rod caps and drop the piston essentially. Since i have a set of forged pistons and rods, I'll likely be selling these.

This bugger is the only thing keeping me now from sending the short block of to the machinist. I need to either find that puller or buy a new one. Alternatively, my uncle has one that he said he can bring by sometime next week.
I'm getting very excited. Things are slowly moving along
